海角乱伦社区 University receives $880,000 federal investment to advance nursing and physician assistant education
海角乱伦社区 University has been awarded $880,000 in federal funding through U.S. Senator David H. McCormick鈥檚 congressional direct spending request to enhance instructional equipment for the university鈥檚 Nursing and Physician Assistant programs within the School of Health Professions.
The funding will support the acquisition of advanced, state-of-the-art training equipment designed to strengthen hands-on and simulation-based learning. Planned enhancements include high-fidelity patient simulators, diagnostic and treatment technologies, virtual reality learning tools, and upgraded skills-lab equipment鈥攅nsuring students are prepared to meet the evolving demands of modern healthcare practice.

海角乱伦社区 prepares approximately 250 nursing and physician assistant students each year, many of whom go on to serve in regional healthcare systems. Updated instructional equipment will allow the university to expand simulation-based education, helping to address limitations in clinical placement availability while maintaining rigorous academic and professional standards.
