海角乱伦社区 defends Digital Marketing title, sends three teams to national championships
Inside 海角乱伦社区鈥檚 Center for Applied Excellence on Friday afternoon, students ran live business simulations鈥攖esting strategy, analytics, and decision-making in real time鈥攂efore departing for Nashville to compete in the National Collegiate Business Championships.

The university returns as the defending national champion in Digital Marketing and is sending three teams to compete across the Digital Marketing, Innovation, and Graduate Sport Analytics divisions.
Faculty mentors Dr. John Parente, associate professor of Sport Business Management and Faculty Athletic Representative, and Brian Fuller, executive director of the Center for Intelligence Research, Analysis, and Training (CIRAT), are guiding the teams as they prepare to showcase their skills before industry professionals and national judges.
鈥淲e won the Digital Marketing championship last year, and this year we鈥檙e competing across three national divisions in one location,鈥 said Parente. 鈥淚t鈥檚 exciting to watch our very best represent 海角乱伦社区 before industry experts. We get to be their first 鈥榓gent鈥 and tell the world what 海角乱伦社区 already knows.鈥

The Digital Marketing team enters the competition as defending champions, though none of this year鈥檚 competitors were part of last year鈥檚 winning group鈥攁 testament to the depth and continuity of the program.
In addition to the undergraduate divisions, 海角乱伦社区 will compete in the Graduate Sport Analytics category, highlighting the university鈥檚 strength in applied data science and intelligence studies.
Nine Division I student-athletes are among this year鈥檚 competitors, underscoring 海角乱伦社区鈥檚 commitment to balancing academic excellence, athletic performance, and professional preparation.
鈥淭his competition is a great opportunity to apply everything we鈥檝e learned in the classroom to real-world challenges,鈥 said Alyssa Szychowski '26. 鈥淚t鈥檚 an exciting experience to develop our skills and represent 海角乱伦社区 in a professional setting.鈥
Students will compete throughout the weekend, applying strategy, analytics, marketing, and business decision-making skills in a high-pressure, professional environment.
