The �� Institute for Arts & Culture welcomes Emmy- and GRAMMY-nominated stage and screen star Cheyenne Jackson to the Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, March 18, at 7:30 p.m.

Fresh off his celebrated solo debut at Carnegie Hall, Jackson brings the acclaimed concert to Erie. Hailed as a “triumphant musical memoir,” the program blends heartfelt storytelling with music spanning Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley to Sam Smith and Chappell Roan. The evening also features Jackson’s deeply personal original song, “Ok,” a moving tribute to his father’s unconditional love. Weaving together five decades of life, love, art, and family, the concert promises warmth, humor, and a deeply memorable shared experience.

As a concert performer, Jackson has appeared at iconic venues including Disney Hall, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Kennedy Center. He received a GRAMMY nomination for his collaboration with the San Francisco Symphony as Tony in “West Side Story,” conducted by the legendary Michael Tilson Thomas.

As a recording artist, Jackson’s albums “I’m Blue, Skies” and “Renaissance” showcase his distinctive blend of jazz, pop, and folk. In collaboration with Michael Feinstein, he released the critically acclaimed album “The Power of Two,” and most recently his EP “Love, Dad,” featuring the heartfelt original song “Ok.” His work as both vocalist and songwriter continues to earn praise from critics and audiences alike.

On Broadway, Jackson’s career includes memorable performances in “Oh, Mary!,” “Into the Woods,” “XANADU,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “Aida,” “The Performers,” “Once Upon a Mattress,” “Finian’s Rainbow,” and “All Shook Up” (Theatre World Award). His television credits include “American Horror Story,” “30 Rock,” “Glee,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Doctor Odyssey,” “Call Me Kat,” “The Morning Show,” and “American Woman.” He also starred in “Julie and the Phantoms,” where his portrayal of a rock star earned him critical acclaim and an Emmy nomination. Other TV and film roles include “Descendants 3,” “UNITED 93,” HBO’s “Behind the Candelabra,” “Law and Order: CSI,” “Ugly Betty,” “Saved By The Bell,” “Matlock,” and “Modern Family.”
