Municipal Police Academy - 2026 Mandatory In-Service Training (MIST)

Overview

海角乱伦社区 delivers the MPOETC-approved, continuing education required annually for certified municipal police officers in Pennsylvania (Act 180). 2026 courses differ from 2025.

  • Hours:听12 total (four courses 脳 three hours each)
  • Audience:听Sworn, active-duty municipal officers and county detectives
  • Delivery:听In-person听辞苍濒测

Locations: Not all sessions are held at the Police Academy. When sessions are at the academy, please use the front lot and enter through the front doors at 5999 State Rt. 89, North East, PA 16428.

Course Requirements

The following courses are required:

  • 26-001: Legal Updates
  • 26-002: Crisis Intervention Training

The following courses are optional:

  • 26-003: Trauma Informed Policing
  • 26-004: Responding to Child Abuse Allegations
