100 Acts of Mercy
The Sisters of Mercy were famously nicknamed the 鈥渨alking nuns鈥 because, unlike most 19th-century religious orders that stayed secluded behind cloister walls, their founder Catherine McAuley insisted that 鈥渢he streets will be our cloister鈥 to actively serve the poor, sick, and uneducated. For our Centennial, we鈥檙e inviting you to actively serve others by completing 100 acts of mercy in 100 days.
This event honors聽the Sisters of Mercy and all they have done and continue to do. By聽participating, you are joining countless members and friends of 海角乱伦社区 University who are channeling the spirit of the聽Sisters聽of Mercy and the charism of Catherine McAuley.
The event will last for聽the聽100聽days聽following聽the Centennial celebration on Sept. 20. Submissions will be accepted through Dec. 29, 2026.

The sky is the limit! The Sisters of Mercy would encourage you to think about the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy, acts of kindness and service, and the Mercy Critical Concerns of women, immigration, earth, nonviolence, and anti-racism.
